TESLA MODEL Y GENUINE CARBON FIBER REAR SPOILER (OEM)

What’s included in the box: (x1 Carbon Fiber Spoiler; x1 roll of 3M double sided tape)

Installation Notes:

Preparation

1. Clean the surface you're planning to install the spoiler on, of any oil and residue. Wipe it dry thoroughly with any microfiber cloth.

   1. You can use isopropyl alcohol or any surface cleaner to make sure the surface is ready for adhesive.

2. Do the same thing to the side of the spoiler where you’ll apply the adhesive.

Instructions:

1. Using the roll of 3M tape, slowly apply the tape on the spoiler. One on the top and one on the bottom, making sure that you cover even the edges. 

   1. You may trim out the excess parts of the tape should you feel necessary.

2. Using a hair dryer (or a heat gun), on a low to medium setting, apply heat on the tape and press it firmly to make sure it really sets in the spoiler.

3. Place the spoiler on the center of the back of the vehicle and carefully mark the points on the far left and far right with any tape as an indicator. 

4. When you’re ready to install the spoiler, pull back a little bit of the tape (top and bottom) on one side, line it up very carefully and push that tape onto the car.

5. When finally in position, simply unpeel the rest of the tap while the spoiler is in position.

6. Use the hair dryer (or heat gun) once again to heat up the tape to make sure the adhesive is nice and firm.

7. Leave a bit of tape to hold the spoiler in position for an hour or two to really let the adhesive set in.
